'2 of 15 destructive 2020 climate disasters impacted India'

A new global report in its analysis of 15 most destructive climate disasters of 2020 has found that nine of these extreme events, including two in India, caused damage worth at least $5 billion. Though hurricanes in the US and central American countries turned out to be most expensive ($41 billion), floods in India (June-Oct) caused the loss of the highest number of human lives.
