Democracies must fight autocracies’ threats: UK PM Boris Johnson

Ahead of his visit to India this week, UK PM Boris Johnson called for democracies to unitedly fight threats to peace from autocratic states. “As we face threats to our peace and prosperity from autocratic states, it is vital that democracies and friends stick together. India, as a major economic power and the world’s largest democracy, is a highly valued strategic partner for the UK in these uncertain times,” said Johnson, in remarks attributed to him by the British high commission.
