Rosalynn Carter, former US first lady and mental health advocate, passed away at the age of 96. Carter also served as an honorary chair of the President's Commission on Mental Health and continued her advocacy work through the Carter Center. Additionally, she was involved in the Habitat for Humanity charity and the Plains community.
