Israeli President meets with envoys whose citizens were murdered and abducted by Hamas

Israeli President Isaac Herzog met with the ambassadors of Thailand, the Philippines, Tanzania, and Nepal to discuss the terror invasion carried out by Hamas in southwestern Israel. The ambassadors expressed concern for their citizens who were killed, injured, or taken hostage during the attack. President Herzog emphasized that Hamas does not differentiate between religions or countries and assured the ambassadors that the Israeli people appreciate their citizens. Among foreign countries, Thailand had the second-highest number of fatalities and a significant number of citizens taken hostage by Hamas. The Thai ambassador expressed concern for the well-being of the Thai people in Israel and asked for assistance in locating and helping the abducted individuals.
